For this quarters gathering of the TC Information Risk Round Table we are reading "How to Measure Anything: Finding the value of intangibles in Business" by Douglas Hubbard.

Social networking and the difference between real and perceived risk is something I've always wanted to measure. This project I'll move off into a forum topic on Social Networking.

My professional calendar seems to run from defcon to defcon. It's the connections, the thoughts and inspiration of others that help drive my goals.

A few projects for this year that I'm planning:
1. Mentorship program - we had started a mentorship program that was getting expanded into the broader community, I'd like to see where we align or hand off to Info Sec mentors http://site.infosecmentors.com/

2. Education/Internship program - figure out how we align and support school

3. Security Maturity - an info sec equivalent of a couch to 5k
